WHAT'S UNDER

OUR RUG?

Every settled place in the Americas was built by colonial powers making use of the environmental resources to drive industrial processes.

Industrial processes built with natural resources and human labour have brought great progress and wealth to not just Canada, but the whole world. This eventually built the world as we know it today. A world that must now ultimately resolve the exponentially growing challenges of overproduction, overconsumption and, most importantly, resolve the global waste crisis that is the product of those very same processes.
